Welcome to Guthrie Grove Church of God.  What a privilege to gather freely to worship our Heavenly Father and His Son- our Lord and Savior Jesus.  On this Father's Day we remember and honor our earthly fathers, and thank God for their Christ-like examples.  Proverbs 20:7- The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.

This is the Advent Season.  Advent, a Latin word for coming is a time to prepare our hearts and minds for the birth of God's Son Jesus, as well as to look forward to His glorious Second Coming.  The flame of each new candle on the Advent Wreath reminds us something is happening-but something more is still to come.
