Choir Practice:
Choir practice begins this afternoon at 4:30. Please join Susan Durham in the sanctuary and be introduced to The Hope of Christmas. This year's cantata will be presented Sunday evening, Dec 16th.

ABC Booster Sunday:
Next Sunday is Atlanta Bible College Booster Sunday. We will recognize those in our congregation who have attended either Oregon Bible College or Atlanta Bible College. Also, special offering envelopes will be available for those who wish to make a financial contribution to ABC. If you're an OBC/ABC alumnus and would like to briefly share about your positive experience next Sunday morning, please see Pastor Mike.

Bible Reading:
How is reading through the New Testament coming along? You can still participate by picking up a reading schedule on the entryway table. Mark your progress and complete reading the New Testament before Christmas.

Carolina Conference:
Don't forget the Oct 21st afternoon Carolina Conference Business Mtg. at Joy Fellowship. You'll be blessed w/special music, fun, food & fellowship. "Come happy, and leave M.A.D."

Fall Festival:
This year's Trunk or Treat will be Saturday evening, Oct 27th. Sign-ups sheets are on the entryway table. We need YOU to help out by providing candy,a trunk, entering contests, etc. See Sherry Alcumbrack for more details.

Song Service:
Plan to attend the 6 pm Sunday, Oct 28th Special Song Service with our brothers and sisters in Christ from our area churches. If you wish to provide a musical special see one of the pastors/musicians in the weeks ahead.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are many area events including the Oct 13 "Pink Ribbon Breakfast" sponsored in part by Baptist Easley Hospital. The 8:30 free breakfast at Brushy Creek Baptist is followed by a 9-10 am program. (Call 442-7791; RSVP by 10/5/12)

Alzheimer's Disease/Caregiver Month:
November is National Alzheimer's Disease/Caregiver Month. A "Walk to End Alzheimer's" is planned at Greenville County Square Oct 20th and a free presentation on Alzheimer's warning signs/caregiving will be given at Beth Israel Congregation, Greenville on Nov 11. (Call 250-0029)
