Jim Mattison:
We are sad to report the death of Brother Jim Mattison. Jim died at Sacred Journey Hospice House in McDonough, GA this past Monday. Jim greatly loved his church family; he will be sadly missed. A memorial service was held Thurs. at Cornerstone Bible Church w/Pastor Dave Riley & Pastor Mike officiating. We pray for the Day in which there is no sorrow, sickness, pain or death. The Mattison family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, financial contributions be made to ABC and/or the Martha Mattison or Bob & Melody Ballard Scholarship Fund. During the next few weeks you will have the opportunity to do just that. Please make checks payable to G’ Grove (Earmarked Jim Mattison Memorial).

Thanksgiving Service:
Please make plans to attend NEXT Sunday evening’s annual Thanksgiving Service (6 pm). Please speak to Sherry Alcumbrack ASAP as to how you & your family would like to participate! Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:4)

Living Nativity:
There’s a sign-up sheet on the entryway table if you’d like to be among the 15 riding the church van to Lenoir, NC on Saturday, Dec. 7th. We’ll leave around 2/2:30 pm and stop at the Gaffney Outlet Mall before heading to Resurrection Hope Church to view their live nativity at 6:30. How ‘bout a cup of Joe and some ‘hot and ready’ Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on the return?
We plan to take a filled van to tour our sister church’s Living Nativity on Dec. 7th. Resurrection Hope has been working toward this project for almost a year. We’ll leave mid-afternoon, spend an hour or two at the Gaffney Outlet Mall & then on to Lenoir. Be watching for a sign-up sheet.

Cooler Temps:
Cooler temperatures have arrived. If anyone in the congregation is in need of financial assistance to help w/utility bills, etc., please contact the deacons.
