Sunday School Party:
We Love Jesus ‘Snow’ Much ~ When? This afternoon, Dec 8th from 2-4 pm Where? Social Hall (Nursery-Grade 6)-Youth Room (7th grade & up) All youth are invited; food & fun activities for all ages- see you there!
We appreciate all those who planned/helped out with this afternoon’s party, and once again remind our Adult Sunday School teachers to enjoy a party or special time of fellowship with your classes during this Christmas season.

Cantata:
Invite your family and friends to join you as the Guthrie Grove Choir presents Come Messiah King on Dec. 15th at 6 pm. The wonders of God’s love will be told in song & narration. Don’t miss this inspiring celebration of the birth of His Son.

Cantata Practice:
Rebecca Dauksas would like all narrators and major drama characters to come to this afternoon’s 4:30 cantata practice.

NC Trip:
The van which traveled to Lenoir, NC yesterday was nearly filled. A good time was had by all and Resurrection Hope’s Living Nativity, God and Angels Speak, was truly inspirational. (Stepping out on faith here…at the time of this printing postponement of the Living Nativity was possible due to weather conditions)

Sister’s Act:
Sister’s Act enjoyed a nice meal together (Catered by Capri’s), fellowship and gift exchange at their monthly meeting last Tuesday evening. Thanks to those who planned, decorated, helped prepare & deliver the meal, etc.

Sing-A-Long:
Pastor Mike will have a Christmas Devotion/sing-a-long at Countryside Village, Easley on Tues. morning, Dec. 10. If you wish to go along, then sign up today.

Angel Tree:
The response to the Angel Tree was tree-mendous! More angel ornaments have been added; feel free to take one home today. Please bring your wrapped gift w/the paper angel attached & place it under tree no later than Wed., Dec. 18th. Thanks for spreading the love of God & Jesus & bringing a smile to the face of an underprivileged child. Thanks to Susan, Lynda & Eugene for their help w/the tree & ornaments. An additional opportunity to help is joining w/the Piedmont Fire Dept. in providing Holiday Food Boxes. For each donation of $15, you can provide a Holiday meal to a family in our community. Donations can be mailed to P.E.R.C.- PO Box 424, P’mont- 29673 or drop a card w/your donation under our Angel Tree.

Williamston’s Municipal Ctr:
Check out Guthrie Grove’s Christmas tree (And all the trees) in Williamston’s Municipal Ctr. from 9 am - 8 pm weekdays & 10 am - 10 pm Saturdays & Sundays. Sheila decorated our tree for the Deck the Halls campaign. We also appreciate Lynda Grant & Pat Smith setting up/decorating the beautiful tree in the Social Hall.

Communion:
