Dec 09: Adelle Chandler Ladies Group Christmas Meeting- 6:30 (Fellowship Hall); bring a $10 gift to exchange and a dish for our potluck.  All ladies are invited
Dec 10: Mid-week Bible study for all ages; BYF meeting- 7 pm

Christmas Parties:
Don't forget the Youth Christmas Parties this afternoon from 2- 4 pm.  The party for those up to grade 6 will be held in the Fellowship Hall; 6th-graders and up will enjoy being together downstairs in the youth room.

- Those who took ornaments from our Angel Tree in the foyer; please return the wrapped gifts with the ornament (Or a tag stating the gender/age) taped to the outside by NEXT SUNDAY, Dec. 14th
- All who were involved in making this morning's children's musical a success- especially our Directors, helpers, parents and most of all, our children
- Wayne Picklesimer for inviting a special guest to talk to our youth this past Wed. evening.  Belton native Matthew LeCroy attended Clemson where he was named to the 1966 US Olympic Baseball Team.  A year later he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins.   We appreciate Mr. LeCroy speaking to our young people.
- Those who contributed to our recent food drive.  Pastor Mike delivered the canned goods/non-perishable items to Loaves & Fishes Food Bank Wednesday
- Rebecca, Cayce, Jennie, Beth/Allison/Nicholas & Heather Jones for putting up this year's Guthrie Grove Christmas Display in Williamston Park.

Men's Retreat:
The Carolina Conference Men's Retreat is Jan. 23-25 at Bonclarken Conference Center (Flat Rock).  Make plans now to attend this event.  Check in time is 7 pm on Fri.; check out is noon on Sun. (Approximate cost-$50-$55 per person) If you have ideas for the retreat, please speak to Pastor Mike.  Sign the sheet today.

There are still a few of the gift-boxed Guthrie Grove Church Ornaments available. (Nice Christmas gifts/$20 each; see Sara Farr if interested)

Living Nativity:
7-8 individuals traveled on the van to Lenoir yesterday to view Resurrection Hope's Living Nativity and enjoy a meal together.  What a blessing!  Our sister church is to be commended for another outstanding presentation.
