Men’s Retreat:
Pastor Mike needs to give Bonclarken an accurate count of attendees by tomorrow!  If you haven’t confirmed you are attending the Carolina Conf. Men’s Retreat, do so today.  Be prepared to pay the $50 registration fee upon arrival. Schedules will be distributed upon registration, but here’s a sneak-peak of Friday night:  7:00- Register at Mary Alice Cottage/settle into White Oak or Lucy Lynn Cottage; 7:30-Welcome/explanations/prayer; 8:00-Praise/worship; 8:30-Evening Lesson (Pastor Jim Ritch); 9:30-‘Grub’ provided by the Grove; 10:00- Campfire (Lee McMinn); 10:30- fun, fellowship or fiesta.  Feel free to carpool w/others; the GPS Address for Bonclarken is 5 Pine Drive, Flat Rock, NC-28731.

Ski Retreat:
The theme for this year’s Conference Ski Retreat (Blowing Rock Conf. Center) is First the Roots, then the Fruits.  This annual event is for youth in 7th grade thru age 22.  Registration deadline is Feb. 1st. See Telva Elwell for more information. The cost of the retreat is $78; skiing is an additional $71 which includes lunch.

Deck the Halls contest:
We are thrilled to announce that Guthrie Grove won 1st place in the Religious Category of the Williamston Town Hall’s Deck the Halls contest.  Special thanks to Sheila Hiles who once again decorated our tree this year.

Chick-fil-A:
Thanks to Joseph Partain & crew from G’ Grove who recently camped out all night in frigid temps at the new, local Chick-fil-A. We appreciate them sharing the Grand Prize (Free Chick-fil-A each week for a yr.) with our youth group & Wed. evening Bible Study crowd and are moo-ved by their generosity.

Super Bowl:
Super Bowl 2015 is Sunday, Feb. 1st.  Once again, you will have the opportunity to donate needed canned food/non-perishable items to a local food bank.  Please bring food the next few Sundays and participate in our Souper Bowl of Caring.
