Make plans to attend this afternoon's Carolina Conference Business Meeting at Bethel Church of God. Enjoy good music, worship & praise, a brief business meeting and evening meal. You'll also be given the opportunity to contribute to both the Willie Smith Scholarship Fund & the Carolina Conference Account.

Karee Anne Fletcher:
Thanks to those who contributed money to help Karee Anne Fletcher purchase a car, following the theft of her vehicle several weeks ago. Over $300 was delivered to Karee Anne this past week by the deacons of Guthrie Grove.

Bible Reading:
Congratulations to Jennie Montgomery who began a Bible reading schedule in January and finished reading the Bible through this past week.

Special Meetings 2012:
Special Meetings 2012 (SM2012) is almost here; we're looking forward to the arrival of Scott & Gayle Ross. Please make plans to attend next Sunday morning and each evening (Including Sunday) at 7 pm. Scott has decided to preach through Thursday evening instead of Friday.
Pastor Scott Ross, a 1968 graduate of Oregon Bible College, has been in the ministry for 44 yrs., 35 of them at the Jaynes Street Church of God (Omaha),from which he retired last year. I'm sure you'll be blessed by his messages;

SM2012 Nursery Schedule:

SM2012 Refreshment Schedule:
Sunday: Leftover desserts from the carry-in luncheon
Monday: sandwiches/finger foods
Tuesday: chips/dip (Provided by Sister's Act)
Wednesday: Watermelon (Provided by Thompson Smith/and or John David Durham);
Thursday: veggies/dip/fruit
if convenient please help out with Sunday's carry-in luncheon & refreshments on Monday and Thursday nights.

SM2012 Brown Bag:
Each noon hour (Aug 27th -30th) Pastor Scott Ross will hold "Brown Bag Bible Studies" in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a lunch and enjoy a time of study and discussion with Pastor Scott.

SM2012 Evening Meal:
Like to host Scott & Gayle for an evening meal (In your home or at an area restaurant) please sign the sheet on the entryway table. Keep in mind that Scott practices a "heart-healthy" eating plan.

SM2012 Children's Church:
Rebecca Dauksas will once again conduct a Children's Church during Special Meetings for those children who are above the nursery age. These youth will be dismissed from the sanctuary following each evening's special music & will spend some time outside. Dress accordingly.

SM2012 Music:
Don't forget that Susan Durham wants to hear from you about providing musical specials during the week of Special Meetings!
