Baptism:
Along with the angels in heaven, we rejoice in today's baptism of Daniel Boswell. We're thankful that we can be clean and forgiven because of God's grace and the shed blood of His Son Jesus. If you are considering immersion into Christ, please speak to one of the pastors, elders, youth workers, etc. about this all-important decision. We're proud of you Daniel & pray God's special blessing as you prepare to leave for military training at Fort Benning (Columbus, GA).

Sister's Act:
Thanks to Sister's Act for contributing more canned goods to last month's VBS Food Drive. The food will soon be taken to Piedmont Emergency Relief Ctr.

After-Glow:
Special thanks to the youth who provided last Sunday evening's Camp After-glow Service. Jennie, Jamie & Paige led praise songs, several campers & staff commented on various aspects of camp & Joseph Partain brought a devotion based on this year's camp theme: Transformed. Thanks to all; this year's camp video was produced by Jennie Montgomery.

African Mission:
We're thankful for the safe return this week of the African Mission Team & are anxious to hear more from Joe & Rebekah Martin and Kim Raper concerning this mission opportunity.

Family Camp:
Attending Midwest Family Camp (Milford, IN) this past week were Telva/Luke Elwell, Rebecca Dauksas, Cayce Ballard, Josh Fletcher, Levi & Cali Walters and Chris Mattison. Camp evening services were broadcast on cogcast.

AED:
The church has purchased an AED (Automated External Defibrillator); stay tuned for more information about a future demonstration of this life-saving device. There's also a new first-aid kit temporarily housed in the kitchen.

Gerneral Conference:
This year's General Conference (Lawrenceville, OH) is just around the corner; there is still time to register. Evening speakers include Scott Millard, Alan Cain and Michael Cisler. Please pray for this important annual event. Current nominees for the General Conference Board of Directors are Darrell Cardwell,Julie Driscoll & Robert Morrison, Jr. Two will be elected at conference.
