We are saddened by the death of DeWitt Stone, who fell asleep in death this past Wednesday morning at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Services were conducted Friday afternoon by Pastors Montgomery & Shaull. Thanks to those who helped out with the Bereavement Meal which was served following the funeral service.
It's estimated that 75-80 individuals will enjoy this weekend's SE Youth Retreat in Blowing Rock, NC. We are thankful for our youth, workers, and chaperones in attendance. Please pray for their safe arrival this afternoon.
At last Sunday afternoon's board meeting, Joe James was re-elected as Board Chairman, and Danny Durham as Vice-Chairman. Congratulations, as well, Joe, upon serving as president of the Simpsonville Rotary Club for the upcoming year.

The Youth wish to invite you to join them on Saturday morning, October 18th for another "Work Day". There are plenty of opportunities to pick up, clean up, etc. around the church. Contact Rebecca Dauksas if you have questions.
