Guthrie Grove has received a thank you from Anderson County Meals on Wheels for our recent donation. MOW reports an 11% increase in costs (Food and fuel) with an additional 9% increase anticipated, making it increasingly difficult to meet needs.

Laurie Ashley says, "Thanks for caring enough to help us continue our mission." The theme for this afternoon's Carolina Conference Fellowship is "The Dash". Come enjoy a time of good music, inspiration, food, and fellowship. If you are interested in representing the Carolina Conference as delegate to next Summer's General Conference in Oregon, Illinois, please let us know at once. Thanks.

Thanks to all who helped with yesterday's Pick-up/Clean-up Work Day at the church. We appreciate the efforts of many who joined our youth in this endeavor.

We need YOUR help in making this year's Trunk-or-Treat successful. Please sign up in the entryway, letting us know that you will provide a trunk and/or help out with this year's event. Speak to Pastors Mike or Jim if you have questions.

The Williamston Park Christmas Committee has asked Guthrie Grove to be responsible for the Live Nativity on Sat., Dec. 20th (Projected to be the busiest Saturday of the 2008 Christmas Season).
